Data Solu­tions by rd elec­tron­ic include a holis­tic approach of data acqui­si­tion and data man­age­ment. The expression/characteristic of the data sources are unlim­it­ed. Pos­si­ble expres­sions may be direct­ly retriev­able mea­sure­ment data from test sys­tems, sen­sors, meters, var­i­ous data stores or already cre­at­ed doc­u­ments that are browsed for meta data, indexed and stored. 

We have the nec­es­sary back­ground to imple­ment your indi­vid­u­al­ized data man­age­ment. The way infor­ma­tion is pre­sent­ed and processed is done accord­ing to your spec­i­fi­ca­tions, even on mobile devices. We use rela­tion­al data­bas­es (SQL) and struc­tured data stor­age (Not-Only-SQL, NO-SQL) with or with­out ASAM ODS standard.

Exam­ple data man­age­ment for renew­able energies

The effi­cient oper­a­tion of ener­gy pro­duc­ers requires good infra­struc­ture mon­i­tor­ing. For pho­to­volta­ic sys­tems, rd elec­tron­ic has cre­at­ed a solu­tion with which all tech­ni­cal equip­ment can be mon­i­tored and man­aged. Mea­sure­ment infor­ma­tion on mod­ule strings, weath­er sen­sors, invert­ers, trans­former sta­tions, etc. are col­lect­ed and eval­u­at­ed in rela­tion to one anoth­er. Reg­is­tered errors are report­ed by email or mobile app. The GPS coor­di­nate of the report­ing ele­ment is also trans­mit­ted. This func­tion can be used as pro­tec­tion against theft or van­dal­ism. Main­te­nance work to be car­ried out can be stored in the sys­tem, where­by a sin­gle PV mod­ule with its ser­i­al num­ber in a large pow­er plant of e.g. 100MWp can be local­ized with GPS accu­ra­cy. If a large pow­er plant is to be pari­tioned, i.e. divid­ed up among var­i­ous investors (cit­i­zen pow­er plant), this is eas­i­ly possible. 

Exam­ple extrac­tion of meta­da­ta from test reports

One task is to search var­i­ous doc­u­ments, which may be locat­ed on dif­fer­ent servers, fil­ter them for meta­da­ta and pop­u­late an index­ing data­base. An exem­plary appli­ca­tion is a very large num­ber of test reports and raw mea­sure­ment data. The under­ly­ing data­base stores the meta­da­ta and ref­er­ences it to the actu­al doc­u­ments, videos, raw mea­sure­ment data, notes, etc. of the actu­al data stor­age sys­tem. The data­base can be oper­at­ed at will via a web-based API, which can also be inte­grat­ed into third-par­ty prod­ucts. Thus, after nar­row­ing down the search cri­te­ria, only rel­e­vant source data can be retrieved and if nec­es­sary ana­lyzed in detail in a lat­er step. When index­ing the data, cer­tain pecu­liar­i­ties can already be tak­en into account and includ­ed in the under­ly­ing data­base. Since test reports could some­times also use dif­fer­ent iden­ti­fiers for the same thing depend­ing on the loca­tion or per­son, an auto­mat­ic uni­fi­ca­tion of the meta­da­ta record can be imple­ment­ed. This ensures that a data query can be answered in full.
