Possible expressions may be directly retrievable measurement data from test systems, sensors, meters, various data stores or already created documents that are browsed for meta data, indexed and stored.
We have the necessary background to implement your individualized data management. The way information is presented and processed is done according to your specifications, even on mobile devices. We use relational databases (SQL) and structured data storage (Not-Only-SQL, NO-SQL) with or without ASAM ODS standard.
Example data management for renewable energies
The efficient operation of energy producers requires good infrastructure monitoring. For photovoltaic systems, rd electronic has created a solution with which all technical equipment can be monitored and managed. Measurement information on module strings, weather sensors, inverters, transformer stations, etc. are collected and evaluated in relation to one another. Registered errors are reported by email or mobile app. The GPS coordinate of the reporting element is also transmitted. This function can be used as protection against theft or vandalism. Maintenance work to be carried out can be stored in the system, whereby a single PV module with its serial number in a large power plant of e.g. 100MWp can be localized with GPS accuracy. If a large power plant is to be paritioned, i.e. divided up among various investors (citizen power plant), this is easily possible.
Example extraction of metadata from test reports
One task is to search various documents, which may be located on different servers, filter them for metadata and populate an indexing database. An exemplary application is a very large number of test reports and raw measurement data. The underlying database stores the metadata and references it to the actual documents, videos, raw measurement data, notes, etc. of the actual data storage system. The database can be operated at will via a web-based API, which can also be integrated into third-party products. Thus, after narrowing down the search criteria, only relevant source data can be retrieved and if necessary analyzed in detail in a later step. When indexing the data, certain peculiarities can already be taken into account and included in the underlying database. Since test reports could sometimes also use different identifiers for the same thing depending on the location or person, an automatic unification of the metadata record can be implemented. This ensures that a data query can be answered in full.
